Position: Housekeeping Manager (Full-time)

The Branksome Hotel & Residences (TBHR), situated within walking distance from Mascot Station and the Domestic airport, provides 152 luxury suites in an apartments style suitable for short or long stay guests. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Housekeeping Manager will ensure effective management, administration, and operation of the Housekeeping department.  

 

The role:

• Ensure high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the accommodation units and public areas.
• Recruit, manage, and train housekeeping staff.
• Allocation of duties to the housekeeping staff members on a daily basis.
• Attend to guests’ housekeeping enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Effective management of housekeeping supplies (laundry, guest supplies, etc.)

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven experience in housekeeping management in a hotel or serviced apartments with 150 rooms or more.
• Experience in a hospitality environment in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a large team.
• Strong understanding to meet rostering, productivity and budgeting requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High work standards with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Understanding of the Work Health and Safety requirements and compliance.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
