Position: F&B Team Leader (Full-time)

The Branksome Hotel & Residences (TBHR), situated within walking distance of Mascot Station and the Domestic airport, provides luxury serviced apartments for short or long stay guests. We are currently looking for exceptional individuals to join our team as Full-time F&B Team Leader. 

 

The successful candidates will be assigned to:

 

  • Effective supervision of the team and managing the service of food and beverage across a variety of outlets.
  • Establish relationship with guests in order to deliver individual requirements
  • Ensure food and beverage service, presentation and delivery is in line with 5-star standards.
  • Ensure all F&B outlets are kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Staff training and development.
  • Stock management and ordering.
  • Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation. 
  • General waiting and service duties of food and beverages. 
  • Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures. 
  • Provide general assistance in cleaning in kitchen and function areas, as directed. 
  • Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen and other departments for daily operation and quality control
  • Ensure multiple tasks are carried out, as required, without sacrificing quality of service.
  • Understand quality (in product, service and people) and train others to do the same.
  • Maintain immaculate grooming, positive attitude, and loads of initiative
  • Maintain flexible work ethic and passion to create unique and memorable dining experience for our customers and a great environment for the team
  • Administration tasks as required

 

We are looking for someone with:

 

  • Previous hospitality experience including small to large events, restaurants and bars
  • Intermediate to high level of cocktail and bar knowledge
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Can-do attitude and effective leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation and grooming
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety & hygiene
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • The ability to work in a team based environment. 
  • Flexibility and availability to work early or evening shifts across 7 days of the week including public holidays, where necessary.
  • Full work rights in Australia
